ElektrischerSpannungsregler.

Electrical voltage regulator.
The invention relates to an electrical voltage regulator with a vibrating contact armature, by means of which, when the speed changes, a shunt resistance in the circuit of a dynamo is automatically switched on and off again.
In such voltage regulators, the nature of the magnetic back-link around the regulator coil and a related arrangement with a closed-circuit on all sides have already been proposed.
In the subject of the application, this magnetic flux of lines of force is now more peculiar
Way by a simple rectangular frame placed around the magnetic core together with the
Anker offered a double path of inference. According to the invention, part of the leg of the frame opposite the armature pivot point is bent into a tongue, the free end of which is directly opposite the end of the armature passed through a recess in the second frame leg and thereby closes the magnetic circuit.
To build the regulator, the usual armature is also used, the pivot point of which is located between the contacts and the adjustment device for the counter spring and the axis of rotation of which can be removed and reinserted here in a particularly convenient manner for easier replacement of a worn armature.
In the drawings, the controller according to the invention is shown in one embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows a side view of the regulator, Fig. 2 shows an individual part.
The controller can be attached to a wall board (not shown here) by means of a rectangular frame 5. This frame is expediently made of iron and forms part of the two paths that are presented to the lines of force according to the invention. The frame 5 carries a core 6 on which a coil 7 of relatively low resistance is wound. At one end of the core 6 is provided with a plate-like widening 8; the other end of the core has a longitudinal bore with a nut thread. into which a screw 9 for rigidly fastening the core and the coil to the frame 5 is inserted.
For reasons to be explained below, a tongue 10 is bent at right angles to one side of the frame 5, the free end of which is directly opposite the free end of a vibrating armature 11. The armature 11 itself is rotatably mounted about a pin 12 in a support 13 which is fastened by rivets or other elements to the outside of the frame side opposite the tongue 10.

An adjusting tube 20 is used to regulate the tension of the spring 17 in order to change the movement of the armature 11. A toothed one

and thus the contacts S6 and 87 are interrupted. As a result, a resistance (not shown) -z. B. in series with the field magnet of the generator - be switched on, so that its power falls. As a result, the magnetic field in the coil system becomes weaker and the spring 17 is able to close the two contacts 26, 27 again. The armature 11 vibrates. as is usual with such anchors, very quickly.
