 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

It has recently become commonplace for economic reasons. To no longer provide telephone cables with pairs, but to combine two pairs each to form a star quad.

This combination of two pairs to form a star quad is not, as mentioned above, for technical reasons, but for purely economic reasons, and accordingly the four wires in a star quad do not represent a star quad group, but rather two telephone pairs when used in the local network.

However, this finding has not yet been taken into account. The four cores of a star quad were always connected to the four cores of a star quad of the next cable when splicing, in the opinion that this type of connection was necessary to maintain the system. However, this maintenance of the system is not only not useful but directly harmful because the harmful coupling within a star quad, i.e. H. the influence of the one speech loop in the star quad by the second loop in the star quad is relatively large.

Taking this into account, according to our invention we deliberately tear the two loops of a star quad and connect them with two loops of the next cable which are not contained in one and the same star quad. We want to explain this with drawings.

In Fig. 1, A and B schematically represent the ends of two, for example ten-pair or five-four cables, which are to be connected to one another or. as the naturalized foreign word is, too

By and large, however, this kind of moving apart is not the essence of the invention, because a completely systemless muddle splicing would be even more effective, only that would have the disadvantage that finding out the pairs would be difficult when later looking for the pairs, and therefore instead of the systemless one Splicing together any system has been suggested.

The essence of the invention is that the two pairs of a Spreehkreis, which are contained in a cable quad, occur in the following cable pieces in two quadruples, so that the influence on the neighborhood of four is reduced.
