Device for monitoring the progress of work processes.
In modern commercial factory administration, a number of devices and forms are used for the purpose of work regulation and appointment determination, without it has so far been possible to achieve the distribution of work and appointment determination in a practically usable simplicity.
This deficiency is now eliminated by the invention, which consists in the fact that a time band shifts in accordance with the passage of time, whereas work equipment bands shift in accordance with the progress of the various work.
The belts can be driven manually or by some other transmission.
According to the invention, the device has a table with a number of endless belts or chains arranged in parallel, on which, stacked on top of one another, small plates of the same size of different color are attached so that they can be folded open. One of the chains is used to divide the time, the other represent a resource or a group of resources. The division of time advances with the time, a unit adapted to the operation. The other chains are each moved individually, according to the progress of work on the respective resource to which the chain is assigned, manually or electrically from the resource, so that as the work progresses, the movement goes in the same direction as the time display.
At the edge of the board, where the tiles disappear at the pace of the work being done, they are automatically folded back into the rest position.
The board, in the form of a box (Fig. 1), the front and rear walls of which are identical and have the same use, shows a number of slots (Fig. 1, No. 8) in a line arrangement, which are caused by electrical lighting in the box can be illuminated. Each horizontal slot line forms the location of a resource, the designation of which is attached to the left edge of the board (Fig. 1, No. 5). A chain (Fig. 1, 2, No. 10) runs over each row of slots, guided on the two edges of the panel via rotatable axes (Fig. 1, 2. No. 11.14), so that the chain moves horizontally to the right and left can be. On the chain hang in an uninterrupted row small transparent plates (Fig. 1, 2, No. 6. 7), which overlap in pairs and the upper one is red, the lower one green.
They are pivotably attached to the chain (FIG. 2) and can be folded back into a rest position so that they can also be taken along horizontally while the chain is moving and are still invisible to the viewer.
When opened, they lie straight over the illuminated slits and thus represent a line.
Such a line on the board is provided as a timing line. It differs from the other lines of resources only in that the plates do not hang on top of each other in pairs, but are individual and opaque, but have time numbers for day or month division (Fig. 1, No. 13).
Purpose of the board.
For each individual work per item of equipment, the necessary manufacturing time can be displayed by opening a certain number of tiles. The time value of the tiles is determined by the division on the time line. The type of work is indicated by attaching a number plate over the last plate on the right. The different colors of the platelets are used to distinguish whether a job has only been prepared or has already been brought to the equipment. The sequence of several work on one and the same equipment is also shown one after the other in the line.

According to the pace of work completion, the chains of the individual resources. Moved independently of one another from right to left, so that the displayed amount of working hours is approximated and the disappearance of the left plates indicates the reduction in work.
In the same way, the timing chain is moved either by clockwork or jerkily by hand, according to the pace of your time. This means that it is always easy to read (the current hour or date is always on the far left) when an order can be started. when it will be done and how long it will be in work.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Device for monitoring the work progress of work processes using a board on which the total duration of individual work processes is represented by adjustable distances on endless belts and the work still to be done can be read with the help of a clock-driven time display device, characterized in that Each individual belt, on which the total duration of the work is shown (by a corresponding number of plates folded up on the belt), is moved by the amount of the work done, while a clock-driven belt, divided into time units, moves independently of the other belts moved in the same direction,
so that the point in time of the completion by the plumb line from the end point of the represented work line to the time band and the duration of the work still to be done as a distance from this point in time to the respective point in time results.
