Druchgasschalter.
So könnte man z.

Gas switch.
In order to increase the holding capacity of a pressurized gas holder or to increase the safety when switching off large connection lines, it is advantageous to either increase the blowing pressure during the switching off process or to arrange an additional blowing of higher pressure in addition to the normal blowing. The increase in the blowing pressure over time can take place in various ways. So you could z. B. compress the normally supplied compressed gas in the switch room, in the drive cylinder, in the hollow contacts or in special devices and feed it to the point of interruption.
This compression can take place in the course of the switch-off movement by the switch drive, which only takes along the contacts for separation when the compression has reached a desired level. Has. Influencing the compressor (depending on the magnitude of the switching current) can also temporarily increase the pressure in the system or at individual points. The same can be achieved if pressurized gas cylinders or pressurized gas containers of higher pressure are temporarily switched to the apparatus or lines.
The level of pressure can be controlled by relays depending on the current strength or on the recurring voltage or overvoltages that occur, and devices can be arranged that release the switch only a certain adjustable time after the influx of the pressure gas. When the Sehalters is driven by a compressed gas drive, the mass shocks can be absorbed in it and, if necessary, used to compress the blown compressed gas

that the backfire by the intermediate cutting of a compressed gas layer of high pressure is safely avoided even at higher voltages. After the contacts have been separated at a greater distance, it is sufficient to continue blowing with less pressure (normal pressure).

Pressure to last only about s / 100 to V sec (i.e. up to 3 changes), and consequently the amount of gas required is small. It is important that the compressed gas is guided to the point of interruption and that it passes between the electrodes with full force and speed. Instead of now, as described, especially compressing the pressurized gas at normal pressure before separating the electrodes, it is also possible to provide double blowing, if necessary also multiple blowing. Compressed gases of different pressures from different compressed gas containers or
Pipelines are fed in, and the blowing from one vessel can replace the other or as additional blowing, depending on the current if necessary, with the 1! the point of interruption. The two blows can be compared with one another with regard to their duration and the point in time at which they start by a common triggering device. The additional pressurized gas is expediently guided through hollow contacts or through special covers close to the interruption point. The onset of the additional blowing can also be controlled by the moving contact itself.
The duration of the blowing can be controlled by changing the opening time or the stroke of the blowing valve, which can be designed as a quick-closing valve, as a function of the current strength or the hazardous state of the system. The blowing pressure can also be made dependent on these factors and automatically increased by switching on vessels, pressurized gas bottles or pressurized gas lines.
It may also be an advantage if not only when switching off but also when switching on

Compressed gas then enters the hollow contact again through the openings 15 and inflates the inner side of the tear-off point. This facility could also be used to switch the disconnection or To blow short circuit point. The other reference signs entered in the figure have the meaning described above.
Fig. 5 shows a pressure gas holder in which the pressure increase in the hollow contact 9 itself is carried out. Pressurized gas flows through the supply pipe 21 into the switch room and passes through the openings 16 into the hollow contact 9. When the switch begins its switching-off movement, i. H. when the contact 9 moves downward, the stationary piston 36 closes the openings 16 and compresses the pressurized gas located in the hollow contact 9. In the further course of the switching movement, the openings 14 previously closed by the nozzle-shaped counter-contact 6, from which the compressed gas compressed in the contact 9 flows out, become free. The compression has the consequence that the

blows from the hollow contact into the space between contact 6 and contact 9.
The blowing takes place along the center contact after the foot point at the center contact and against the arc. The extinguishing takes place while the compressed gas is being blown. Then the contact moves quickly (the inhibition by the compressed gas no longer applies) to the open position.

Has reached the size, the entry into the opening 41 under the drive piston 11 is released for the compressed gas. The compression piston 39 carrying the valves 38 is firmly connected to the piston 11. The ratio of the diameters of piston 11 and piston 39 is not shown to scale in the drawing.
The surface area of piston 11 is a multiple of that of piston 39. The compressed gas located above piston 39 is compressed, the latter over the stop in the further course of the disconnection movement. 37 takes the contact. '35 and thus manages the interruption. The compressed compressed gas flowing out blows the point of interruption with the greatest blowing force during the favorable extinguishing position. After the pressure via piston 39 has fallen below the pressure prevailing in the lower control room 42, the interruption point is further blown with the compressed gas of normal pressure through the access openings 21 and valves 38.
The ratio of the amount of compressed gas to the amount of compressed gas flowing in at normal pressure can be selected so that the compressed gas is sufficient to extinguish the separating arc and prevents reignition in the extinguishing position and the influx of compressed gas prevents reignition on the further switching path. The connector 22 represents the compressed gas inlet for the activation. Also

During the shut-off movement, the valve 57 is opened by time or current relays, the valve 38 closes, since gas at a higher pressure is blown from the pressurized gas cylinder 58 through pipe 48 into the shut-off space.
This also means that the switch-off movement is accelerated. because the pressure drop of the gas flowing in through pipe 21 towards the blow point is avoided. This allows you to achieve that the speed of sound at the moment of the interruption is normal, not too great and only interrupts after the higher pressure gas is at the interruption point
