Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

    Heizkörper für Warmwasserheizungen.

Fig. 6 ist der Grundriss dazu.

    Radiators for hot water heating.

   There are known radiators which consist of corrugated, parallel, standing, closely spaced metal sheets and in which the flow are connected at one end and the return at the opposite end. Furthermore, radiators are known which are also made of upright corrugated metal sheets and in which the flow and return flow each into a box from which the heating water flows over the entire area of the radiator, which is wave-shaped in cross section. flows out.

   In contrast, the invention consists in the fact that, in the case of a radiator which consists of two standing, corrugated metal sheets placed parallel to one another at a small distance, the flow and return are arranged in such a way that they are directly connected to each of the flat parts of the shafts, whereby the first-mentioned arrangement has the advantage that the flow resistance is greatly reduced due to the short waterways in the radiator, while the other device has the advantage that there are no sealing surfaces, but all connections can be made by welding.

   Devices built in this way can also be used as water heaters for hot water heating systems.

   The drawing shows two versions of such radiators in FIGS. 1 and 2, and FIG. 3 is the associated floor plan. Figs. 4 and 5 show two embodiments of the application of the invention as a water heater. Fig. 6 is the plan view.

   The production of such a radiator is done in such a way that two metal sheets, wave-shaped
 EMI1.1
 be welded together with their outer edges.

   The heating water flows in the space between these metal sheets and receives its inflow and outflow through forward and backward flow lines a, b, which are welded to each individual or approximately to every second of the flat parts of the radiator.
