Regal.

Shelf.
The invention relates to those shelves in which the cheeks used to support the top boards can be attached to the uprights made of profile iron at different heights in such a way that the cheeks reach under the top edge of the uprights and are supported below.
According to the invention, each cheek has two of the same on its rear edge
Page at right angles bent approaches, of which the upper one engages under an edge strip of the stand, while the second approach engages over this edge strip and is provided with a pin which is inserted into one of a series of holes in this edge strip.
In the drawing, a shelf designed according to the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment. Fig. 1 shows a top view, Fig. 2 is a front view and Fig. 3 is a side view of the shelf. Figures 4 and 5 show details.
As usual, each consists of one-sided or two-sided fastening as shown
Cheek 1 serving hollow uprights from two advantageously U-shaped in cross section, connected to one another
Profile iron 2, 2 between which a sheath and contact sheet is attached for the cheeks on both sides, with a gap approximately corresponding to the cheek thickness remaining free between this sheet and the inwardly curved edges or edge strips 2 ', 2'. These edges 2 ', 2' are each with one
Row of spaced insertion holes 4 provided.
Each cheek 1 has a vertically bent extension 5 at the top and a pin 6 at the bottom, which is conveniently attached to a lower extension 7 of the cheek. The cheek is inserted into the mentioned gap in such a way that the projection 5 engages under the edge 2 'of the associated profile iron 2, while the pin 6 is inserted from the front into the hole 4 of the edge 2' corresponding to the desired height, whereby the cheek is acted upon their one-sided excess weight is held on the stand.
The fact that exposed holes are provided instead of the usual transverse bolts or support parts attached inside the hollow stand not only simplifies the construction and makes it cheaper, but also makes it easy to attach the cheeks and secure hold due to the engagement of the pin 6 in one of the holes 4 scored.
The edge stand of the shelf or the stand of a single-row shelf naturally only have a single profile iron 2. The lower bent edges 8 of the cheeks 1 are used to place the top boards.
