B. aufgelötet, aufgewalzt, in Rillen eingewalzt usw.

Method for sealing cables at the insertion points in cable fittings.
Patent No. 107504 describes a method for sealing cables at the insertion points of cable fittings, in which the expanded lead sheath of the cable or an additional lead pipe soldered onto the lead sheath is pulled over the insertion mouthpiece of the fitting and rolled into one or more grooves in the insertion mouthpiece .
It has been shown that this type of seal by means of the expanded lead jacket or lead pipe leaks over time, which is due to the low mechanical strength and elasticity of the lead.
According to the present invention, this disadvantage is avoided by using sealing tubes made of a mechanically strong and elastic material instead of the widened lead jacket or lead pipe for sealing the insertion points. These sealing tubes are sealed at one end to the cable jacket and at the other end to the inlet mouthpiece of the fitting, e.g. B. soldered, rolled, rolled into grooves, etc. The sealing tubes are preferably made of a non-magnetic metal, such as copper, bronze, etc., with regard to the required strength and with regard to the magnetic losses.
External mechanical influences or temperature influences also often lead to changes in the position of the cables in relation to the fittings, which also results in the sealing pipes leaking at the sealing points.
According to the further invention, the leakage of the sealing pipes caused by the changes in position is also avoided by designing the sealing pipes as movable (flexible) pipes, hoses or the like, so that a change in position of the cables with respect to the fittings occurs to a greater or lesser extent can without the sealing points (soldered points, roll-on points, etc.) suffering.
In the drawing in FIGS. 1-3, an exemplary embodiment of the sealing method according to the invention is shown on a cable termination. It means a the cable core, b the lead sheath of the cable, c the mouthpiece of the insulator fitting i. On the lead sheath b of the cable, at v, a sealing tube d, widened upwards, is rolled into several grooves, to which a movable tube r is tightly connected by means of the screws s. The movable tube r is in turn rolled into several grooves at its smooth end pieces e at 7V onto the insulator fitting i.
By switching on the movable pipe r, a change in the position of the cable k with respect to the fitting i is possible without the sealing points at 7V and v suffering as a result.
The movable pipe r is designed as a corrugated pipe in the present example, but any other movable pipe or hose construction can be used for this purpose.
In the drawing, the sealing tube is made of two parts, u. between a smooth sealing pipe and a movable corrugated pipe, but the sealing pipe can also be made of one piece, for. B. od as a movable pipe or as a movable hose. Like. Be made.
