Kühlvorrichtung für Vakuummetalldampflampen.
Bei Vakuummetalldampflampen ist es bekannt, die erforderliche Wärmeableitung von den Polgefässen durch Grossoberflächenkühler (fächerartig angeordnete Blechstüeke) zu bewerkstelligen, die aussen an den Polgefässen befestigt sind. Die so ausgestatteten Vakuummetalldampflampen befinden sich innerhalb eines regelmässig aus Metall bestehenden Reflektors. Infolgedessen kann die Grossoberfläehen- kühlung der Polgefässe nur unvollkommen zur Wirkung gelangen, denn die Grossoberflächenkühler befinden sich in der fast unbewegten warmen Luft innerhalb des Reflektors.
Bei der neuen Kühlvorrichtung, die in einer Ausführungsform in der Fig. 1 in Vorderansicht, in der Fig. 2 im Längsschnitt und in der Fig. 3 in der Draufsicht schematisch dargestellt ist, befindet sich in der üblichen Weise die Vakuummetalldampflampe a innerhalb des Reflektors b, mit dem eine, ihre Polgefässe eng umschliessende Metallhülse c gut wärmeleitend verbunden ist.
In manchen Fällen ist es vorteilhaft, beispielsweise durch aussen an dem Reflektor angebrachte Kühlrippen d, den Reflektor als Grossoberflächenkühler auszubilden.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Kühlvorrichtung zur Wärmeableitung von den Polgefässen von Vakuummetalldampflampen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens eine, die Pölgefässe eng umschliessende gut wärmeleitende Hülse gut wärmeleitend mit dem Reflektor verbunden ist.
