Hänge-oder Abspannisolator der Kappen-und Bolzen bzw. Doppelkapl) enbauart.

Suspension or tension insulator of the cap and bolt or double cap design.
The invention relates to a suspension or tension insulator of the cap and bolt type or of the double cap type and is intended to shorten such insulators and to simplify production
EMI1.1
The invention. consists in that at least one armature of the insulator (bolt or cap) forms a single rigid piece with part of the clamping device, which provides a support for the line.
It has now been proposed to provide suspension insulators with a fitting which was made in one piece with a hook for carrying the line. Here, however, there is a theoretically linear support of the line on the support member. so that even with small spans and cross-sections of the line, an immediate break is unavoidable. The line itself cannot be intercepted.
It has also already been proposed to cement a clamp for fastening the line into an insulator body or to attach it to the lowest link of a chain by means of a rope, which chain itself consists of several insulator pieces connected to one another by ropes.
However, these proposals did not shorten the overall length of the insulator obtained but, on the contrary, lengthened it. The clamp itself was composed of many components in a complicated manner, as far as it was described at all. Nowhere was the object of the invention set as to how to achieve a suspension while reducing the manufacturing and assembly costs and the overall length of the insulator, which nevertheless has all the advantages of a suspension by means of a wire clamp.
The invention thus creates a completely new type of fitting that not only consists of the
Cap or the bolt and connecting links with a special wire clamp, but rather in the cap or the bolt and part of the wire clamp itself, which is a support

of the isolator shortened.
The invention will be explained in more detail using the exemplary embodiments in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the invention, in which the insulator body 1 at its lower end with a cap; 3, which is made in one piece with a tab 7 or the like, which is bent over like a hook at its lower end and forms a groove with a correspondingly curved, wide contact surface for receiving the cable 5. By a clamping member 9, the cable is held within the groove and sheared against lateral displacement. The training of the clamping member is not important here. The clamping can also be achieved by any other machine element.
The flap 7 and thus the overall length of the insulator can now be shortened as desired and this leads to an embodiment according to FIG. 2 in which a clamping groove 11 is formed directly on the underside of the cap 3. while the bearing supporting the line 6 is formed by a correspondingly shaped end part J2. for example major. h Screws J are attached to the cap and the cable is clamped. One can also choose the embodiment according to FIG. 3, in which one of the two screws 14 is replaced by a type of hinge 15.

If the fitting consists of a bolt, the embodiment according to FIG. 4 can be selected, in which a bolt 16 is provided at its lower end with grooves for receiving the cable G and a safety cable 17, while a terminating part 12 with appropriately designed grooves through a screw or the like 14 is pressed. Of course, a corresponding embodiment can also be used for bolts for carrying the line alone, without a safety rope.
In addition to replacing a post insulator with a suspension insulator, the invention can also be used in place of a connecting piece. Then, for example in an embodiment according to FIG. 4, the support rail is fastened to the lower tongue of the bolt 16 by screws or the like. The support rail engages with corresponding projections in one or more grooves of the tongue part of the bolt 16, whereby an immovable connection is secured.
