Nach erfolgter Verbindung zieht das Relais Tr an und verhindert, dass das Abschaltrelais der nicht gerufenen Stelle anspricht. Es besteht also für diese keine Möglichkeit, sich einzuschalten. 



   Während des Gespräches kann der nicht beteiligte Teilnehmer weder hören noch durch Abheben seines Hörers stören. Die vorübergehende Erdung der einen oder andern Leitung verstärkt bloss den Anzug des die Verbindung des andern Teilnehmers haltenden Relais und kann unmöglich zum Zusammenfallen der Verbindung führen.
