pressure stronger, d. H. the resistance is increased, and in this way the Sirömugss speed within the line b can be kept exactly the same. The friction body s can, for. B. made of Leder7 metal or rubber.
The liquid emerging from the housing e at exactly the same speed is now passed through a resistance nozzle v which is switched into line b at any point.
This nozzle consists of a narrowed pipe section of precisely defined length and precisely defined cross section. The length and the cross-section are selected according to the normal viscosity of the liquid. Therefore, the normal lubricity of the liquid corresponds to a certain pressure drop in the nozzle. This pressure drop can e.g. B. can be measured by a close in front of the nozzle by means of the elbow w pressure gauge or a differential pressure gauge which is connected to two points of the nozzle located at a precisely known distance from each other.
As mentioned, the pressure could also be kept the same and the speed of the liquid measured. Keeping the pressure equal can e.g. B. done by manometer-like, for example on the principle of expansion pipes or capsules based facilities, through which depending on the

Maintaining the same pressure can flow into the pipe b. The flow rate, which is then different depending on the viscosity, can be in any way, for. These movements of the pipe or the baffle can be transferred to a pointer which directly indicates the viscosity level on a graduation.
