  Hohle Fensterscheibe.

  Hollow window pane.

There are already hollow window panes made of two panels that are connected at the edge and leave a cavity between them. The two panels are either bonded together by a binding agent, or the hollow window pane is factory-made as one piece. The invention lies in the fact that on the hollow window pane, which is manufactured as one piece, a flat shoulder without a cavity is arranged at the edge. This approach has the advantage that hollow window panes of one size can be used with frames of different sizes, since the approach allows the pane to be trimmed.

In the drawing the subject of the invention is shown u. FIG. 1 shows the hollow disk according to the invention in a view and FIGS. 2-6 show cross sections of the disk in various embodiments. a is the approach on the edge according to the invention, b the cavity. This cavity can be filled with dry air or another gas in a manner known per se. The surfaces of the window panes can, as FIG. 4-6 shows, be curved in various shapes in a manner which is also known per se.

The manufacture of the window panes can, for. B. be done by blowing the hollow body, the edges of which are compressed while maintaining the shape of the hollow body.
