N ormaluhr- Kontakt-Einrichtung.

Normal clock contact facility.
The invention relates to a contact device on normal clocks, the contact of which switches the slave clocks and is actuated by the swinging pendulum.
The invention differs from known systems in that the element (ratchet wheel) which determines the time on the slave clocks from contact to contact cannot be affected by any forces which cause the slave clocks to be incorrectly adjusted.
An exemplary embodiment is shown in the drawing.
The ratchet wheel 1, which is entrained tooth by tooth by the swinging pendulum, has a recessed tooth 2 for the delivery of slave clock contacts, in which the shift lever J swinging with the pendulum engages, a contact lever 4 grasping it and it approximately (as in the drawing) with right swing of the pendulum in the contact position to close the contact at 5 takes.
When the pendulum subsequently swings to the left, the contact lever will return to its rest position; before opening the contact at 5, however, the engagement of the lever J, which moves upward during the left wing swing, with the contact lever 4 is released and the contact 5 is not slowly interrupted, for example at the speed of the pendulum swinging back, but suddenly.
