Eine mit dem üblichen Steckkontakt h versehene Leitungsschnur i ist in den Handgriff a von unten her eingeführt, wobei in dem oberen Teile des Handgriffes ein Schalter k vorgesehen ist.
Der Apparat kann auf Reisen bequem mitgeführt und überall an die vorhandenen Lichtleitungen mittels des Stechkontaktes leicht angeschlossen werden. Um den Apparat den verschiedenen Spannungen der zur Verfügung stehenden Leitungen anpassen zu können ; empfiehlt es sich, mehrere Heizkörper für die in Betracht kommenden Voltzahlen vorrätig zu halten und nach Bedarf auszuwechseln.
