Roller bearing.
As experience shows, rolling elements with rolling elements rotating between rigid raceways can only be used successfully for non-uniform and pendulum rotating pins, in particular for crank pins of internal combustion engines, if it is possible to prevent the rolling elements from sliding and rolling in a uniform rotary motion to achieve on the career path.
For this purpose, the bearings have already been provided with resilient auxiliary devices, for example resilient auxiliary raceways, which press the rolling elements against the raceway through their own spring force.
Of these. known devices, the device according to the invention differs in that the rolling elements are prevented from sliding by additional forces which are generated by the centrifugal effect of the masses of organs which act directly or indirectly on the rolling elements. Such a device has the advantage over devices in which the rolling elements are only pressed by spring force that the contact pressure increases with increasing speed, so that the rollers, which are subject to a greater centrifugal pressure with increasing speed, always apply the same pressure to the Career are pressed.
The invention can be applied in various ways. It can e.g. B. the inner raceway of the rolling bearing can be divided into several rings, one of which is, for example, displaceable so that it presses against the rolling elements by the centrifugal force of its mass. This ring can be slotted in the shape of a wedge for engagement of a wedge located on the crank pin, for example. In this case, the centrifugal effect pushes the ring onto the wedge and is pressed against the rolling elements.
Another possible application of the invention consists in that a pendulum is arranged within the pressure ring subject to the centrifugal force in such a way that it acts on the pressure ring through its own centrifugal force and thereby increases the contact pressure of the ring.
As a result of the subject matter of the invention, the rolling elements are each pressed against the raceway by a pressure of such magnitude that the resulting frictional resistance is greater than the force causing the sliding, so that the rolling elements always rotate correctly when they come into contact with the raceway unroll this.
In the drawing, five exemplary embodiments of the invention are represented by eight figures.
A piston rod head for an internal combustion engine is selected to illustrate the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the piston rod head. Fig. 2 shows in a partial front view and partial section the bearing of the piston rod head according to FIG. 1. FIG. 3 also shows again in a partial front view and partial section the bearing of the piston rod head according to FIG. 1, but different from the embodiment according to FIG Shape. The cut-open ring provided in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 has, according to FIG. 3, a wedge-shaped slot into which a wedge engages. Fig. 4 shows in section a further embodiment in which the piston rod head is placed on a crank pin. According to this embodiment, a pendulum is arranged in the piston rod head, which presses on pins. FIG. 5 shows the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4 in partial cross-section and in elevation.
Fig. 6 shows a further embodiment in which a crank pin is again shown in section with the piston rod head attached. In this embodiment, too, a pendulum is inserted into the bore of the crank pin, but in contrast to the previous

standing embodiment acts by a pull rod on the pressure ring. Fig. 7 shows in partial cross-section and in a view the embodiment of Fig. 6. Fig. 8 shows another example in section with a piston rod head placed on the crank pin with a pendulum in the bore of the crank pin, which acts on half of the inner bearing ring .

used. Pins ì are supported against the pendulum and are pressed by the centrifugal force of the pendulum against the expansion ring k, which presses the rolling elements against the raceway so that they roll correctly.
The action of the pendulum can be supported by a lever transmission by letting the pressure pins i on the pendulum engage between the center of gravity and the pivot point. The action of the pendulum can also be increased by the action of a spring ni.
The exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 6 and 7 differs from the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5 in that a pull rod n is inserted into the pendulum h, which with a wedge
