    Ztindvorrichtung   für elektrische Lichtbogen-Schweissung. 



   Bei der elektrischen Lichtbogenschweissung ist zur   Zündung   des Lichtbogens eine höhere Spannung   wünschenswert,   als nachher für den dauernden Schweissbetrieb. Man hat bisher diese Regelung der Spannung zwischen der Elektrode und dem Material, welches   geschweisst   werden soll, dadurch ermöglicht, dass man den   Schweissgenerator   für eine verhältnismässig hohe Spannung bemessen hat, die bei Stromdurchgang auf einen für den   Schweissbetrieb   passenden Wert mittels Widerständen oder Reaktanzen im Hauptstromkreis abgedrosselt wurde.

   Zur Beruhigung der Lichtbogen wird ohnehin ein ohmseher Vorschaltwiderstand benötigt ; eingehende Versuche haben jedoch gezeigt, dass die als Beruhigungwiderstand benötigte Ohmzahl klein ist gegenüber der zur Abdrosselung der Spannung notwendigen. 



   Der Wirkungsgrad der   Schweissanlage   kann daher wesentlich verbessert werden, wenn man die Erregung des Generators für das Zünden des Lichtbogens erhöht und nachher auf einen für das Schweissen passenden Wert herabsetzt. 



   Um nun die Handhabung der Zündvorrichtung zu vereinfachen, soll nach der Erfindung die Verstärkung der Generatorerregung durch einen Kontakt geschehen, der einen Teil des Widerstandes im Erregerstromkreis des Generators kurzschliesst und der an dem Werkzeug angebracht ist, welches der Schweisser in der Hand hält. 



   Die Fig. zeigt ein Beispiel einer nach der Erfindung ausgeführten   Zündvorrichtung.   a ist der Anker des   Schweissgenerators,   b der kleine Beruhigungswiderstand, c die   Schweissstelle   (der Lichtbogen), d die   Nebenschlusserregerwicldung   des Generators, e der Regulierwiderstand für die Erregung, der durch den verschiebbaren Kontakt f geregelt werden kann Durch den Kontakt g, der an dem Schweisswerkzeug angebracht ist, kann ein Teil des Widerstandes im Erregerstromkreis kurzgeschlossen werden.

   Der Kontakt t dient nur dazu, die für den Dauerbetrieb notwendige Erregung einzustellen, während der kurz zu schliessende Teil des Widerstandes mittels des Kontaktes h so eingestellt wird, dass beim Druck auf den Kontakt g gerade die für das   Zünden   notwendige Erregung erreicht wird.
