Abstract

La invención se refiere a una marca de seguridad impresa a través de un proceso de calcografía, a una placa de impresión calcográfica grabada correspondiente, y a métodos y dispositivos para producir, codificar / descifrar y autenticar dicha marca de seguridad. Comprendiendo la marca de seguridad unos patrones de calcografía 2D de múltiples tonos de módulos de calcografía que contienen datos codificados de acuerdo con símbolos de codificación específicos, cuya descodificación, junto con valores de tono medidos para desplazamientos diminutos alrededor de sus posiciones en la fase de descodificación sobre una imagen digital de dichos patrones de calcografía en correlación con dichos símbolos, proporciona una estimación robusta y precisa de un error de coincidencia entre módulos de tonos distintos, permitiendo de este modo detectar fácilmente cualquier marca falsa obtenida a través de impresión offset, incluso con un teléfono inteligente.
