Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición antimicrobiana, más concretamente a una composición líquida que no es agresiva con las superficies que se limpian y desinfectan, como los tejidos y la vajilla, especialmente las que se lavan a mano, y también para la higienización de las manos y otras superficies corporales. La presente invención también puede utilizarse para desarrollar productos que actúen como composiciones líquidas higiénicas multiusos que puedan utilizarse para limpiar / desinfectar cualquiera de las superficies mencionadas. Esto se consigue combinando un tensioactivo basado en aminoácidos que tiene un valor pKa específico junto con un alcanodiol de C₃ a C₉ mientras la composición tiene un pH en el intervalo de 2,5 a 4,5. Reivindicación 1: Una composición antimicrobiana caracterizada porque comprende (i) del 0,01 al 2% en peso de un tensioactivo a base de aminoácidos con un valor pKa comprendido entre 3 y 5; (ii) del 0,05 al 2% en peso de un alcanodiol de C₃ a C₉; en donde la composición tiene un pH en el intervalo de 2,5 a 4,5. Reivindicación 2: Una composición de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque el tensioactivo de aminoácidos se selecciona de uno o más de lauroil sarcosinato de sodio, oleoil sarcosinato de sodio, oleoil glutamato de sodio, oleoil glicinato de sodio, cocoil glutamato de sodio, cocil glutamato de sodio, lauroil glutamato de sodio y lauroil glicinato de sodio. Reivindicación 3: Una composición de acuerdo con las reivindicaciones 1 o 2, caracterizada porque el alcanodiol se selecciona de uno o más de los siguientes: propanodiol, hexanodiol u octanodiol.The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition, more specifically to a liquid composition that is not aggressive with the surfaces that are cleaned and disinfected, such as fabrics and dishes, especially those that are washed by hand, and also for the sanitization of hands and other body surfaces. The present invention can also be used to develop products that act as multi-purpose hygienic liquid compositions that can be used to clean/disinfect any of the mentioned surfaces. This is achieved by combining an amino acid-based surfactant having a specific pKa value together with a C₃ to C₉ alkanediol while the composition has a pH in the range of 2.5 to 4.5. Claim 1: An antimicrobial composition characterized in that it comprises (i) 0.01 to 2% by weight of an amino acid-based surfactant with a pKa value between 3 and 5; (ii) 0.05 to 2% by weight of a C₃ to C₉ alkanediol; wherein the composition has a pH in the range of 2.5 to 4.5. Claim 2: A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the amino acid surfactant is selected from one or more of sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, sodium oleoyl sarcosinate, sodium oleoyl glutamate, sodium oleoyl glycinate, sodium cocoyl glutamate, sodium cocyl glutamate, sodium lauroyl glutamate and sodium lauroyl glycinate. Claim 3: A composition according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the alkanediol is selected from one or more of the following: propanediol, hexanediol or octanediol.
