Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos para detectar la presencia de monensina en la alimentación animal usando un ensayo de flujo lateral competitivo. Los métodos permiten la detección cualitativa de monensina, así como la detección cuantitativa a un nivel muy alto de sensibilidad, por ejemplo, detección de 10 ppm o menos en una muestra de alimento. También se proporcionan dispositivos de tira de ensayo de flujo lateral competitivos para su uso en los métodos. Reivindicación 10: Un método para detectar la presencia de monensina en la alimentación animal, el método que comprende: (a) poner en contacto el alimento para animales con un tampón de extracción líquido para obtener una Muestra líquida; (b) aplicar la muestra líquida a la almohadilla del dispositivo de tira LFA de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 12; (c) revelar el dispositivo de tiras LFA durante, por lo menos, 5 minutos; y (d) leer visualmente o medir cuantitativamente el dispositivo de tira de LFA para detectar de ese modo la presencia de monensina en el alimento para animales.
