Abstract

La presente descripción se relaciona con la distribución en flujo continuo (streaming) de contenido multimedia y en particular con un método, programa, servidor y sistema de distribución en flujo continuo de contenido multimedia. Una parte del contenido multimedia es transmitida desde un servidor de distribución en flujo continuo a un cliente y se determina un tiempo de transferencia para la parte del contenido multimedia. El tiempo de transferencia es comparado con la duración de la reproducción de la parte de contenido multimedia. Si la diferencia entre el tiempo de reproducción y el tiempo de transferencia excede un valor preconfigurado, se ajusta la tasa de bits.
