Abstract

Un ensamblaje de bomba eléctrica sumergible (11) cuenta con una cubierta de la parte de cierre (25) para acoplamiento entre un motor (17) y una bomba (13) del ensamblaje. Una bolsa (35) cuenta con una abertura (37) con un tamaño adecuado para deslizarse sobre un adaptador (39) en la cubierta de la parte de cierre. Se forma un anillo de abrazadera (51) a partir de una aleación con memoria de forma seleccionada a los efectos de crear un diámetro interno en estado expandido cuando se encuentra a temperatura ambiente, lo cual permite la inserción del anillo de abrazadera sobre la abertura de la bolsa durante el ensamblaje. Al calentarse hasta una temperatura elevada, el anillo de abrazadera se contrae y sujeta firmemente la abertura alrededor del adaptador. La aleación con memoria de forma del anillo de abrazadera provoca la expansión del diámetro interno en estado contraído al enfriarse hasta una temperatura baja seleccionada.
