Abstract
Cuando un dispositivo inalámbrico obtiene una solicitud de acceso aleatorio en una celda, en función de información relacionada con al menos un tipo de señal de referencia, selecciona al menos un tipo de señal de referencia. Luego, el dispositivo inalámbrico realiza una medición en dicha celda mediante el uso del tipo o los tipos seleccionados de señal de referencia. En función de un resultado de la medición, el dispositivo inalámbrico selecciona un nivel de mejora de cobertura, y luego envía un mensaje de acceso aleatorio a la celda mediante el uso de recursos de radio asociados con el nivel de mejora de cobertura seleccionado.
