Abstract

Se describe un aro de rueda (10) para vehículos de motor que comprende una estructura periférica circunferencial (12), dispuesta para recibir una cubierta (T), y una estructura central (14) dispuesta para acoplarse con un eje (H) del vehículo. La estructura periférica (12) comprende en secuencia, para cada lateral del aro de rueda (10), una brida periférica (22, 24), una pared de conexión (26, 28), en la que yace el talón de la cubierta (T), y una parte de conexión (38, 40). La estructura periférica (12) además se proporciona centralmente con un hueco central (20). La parte de conexión (38, 40) comprended una primera región curva (42, 44) que se une con el hueco central (20). La parte de conexión (38, 40) además comprende una segunda región curva (46, 48) que se interpone entre la primera región curva (42, 44) y la pared de conexión (26, 28). La segunda región curva (46, 48) posee un perfil convexo cuando se observa del lateral del aro de rueda (10) en el que se encaja la cubierta (T) y comprende una primera superficie curva (52), la cual se une con la pared de conexión (26, 28) y que posee un primer radio de curvatura (R1), y una segunda superficie curva (54), que se interpone entre la primera superficie curva (52) y la primera región curva (42, 44) y que posee un segundo radio de curvatura (R2) diferente a, y preferiblemente mayor que, el primer radio de curvatura (R1) de la primera superficie curva (52).
