Abstract
Métodos para utilizar códigos de barras de ácidos nucleicos y los correspondientes sitios de amplificación en células donde dichos códigos de barras se encuentran de manera natural. Estos códigos de barras y sitios de amplificación están reconfigurados en un solo casete de ácidos nucleicos que facilita su uso en la marcación de especies, cepas o variantes particulares de células, cada una con un código de barras diferente. Estos códigos de barras se pueden usar en el seguimiento de la capacidad de colonización de las células que contienen a dichos códigos de barras. These barcodes and amplification sites are reconfigured into a single nucleic acid cassette that facilitates their use in labeling particular species, strains, or variants of cells, each with a different barcode. These barcodes can be used to monitor the colonization capacity of cells containing such barcodes. Also provided are assays that use natural barcodes to measure the relative microbial colonization capacity of a plant root system.
