Abstract

Un método para analizar una muestra de roca incluye analizar una o más micrografías de baja resolución de área grande para identificar áreas que requieren obtención de imágenes de mayor resolución y seleccionar una o más regiones de análisis de las áreas que requieren obtención de imágenes de mayor resolución. La obtención de imágenes multiespectrales se utiliza en la una o más regiones de análisis para obtener una o más imágenes multiespectrales de alta resolución, y se identifican una o más características de la muestra de roca de la una o más imágenes multiespectrales de alta resolución correspondientes. El método incluye además aumentar la escala de la una o más imágenes multiespectrales de alta resolución y de ese modo geolocalizar las características de la muestra de roca en regiones clave de la muestra de roca.
