Abstract

En el presente documento se describen sistemas y métodos para mejorar el uso de sensores de precipitación, tales como pluviómetros y radares. En una realización, un sistema informático agrícola inteligente recibe uno o más registros digitales de precipitación que comprenden una pluralidad de valores de datos digitales que representan la cantidad de precipitación en una pluralidad de ubicaciones. Adicionalmente, el sistema recibe uno o más registros digitales de pronóstico que comprenden una pluralidad de valores de datos digitales que representan los pronósticos de precipitación, cada uno de los cuales comprende predicciones de precipitación en una pluralidad de tiempos de anticipo al pronóstico (lead time). El sistema identifica una pluralidad de valores de pronóstico para una pluralidad de ubicaciones en un momento particular, cada pluralidad de valores de pronóstico corresponde a un tiempo de anticipo al pronóstico diferente. El sistema usa la pluralidad de los valores de precipitación para generar una probabilidad de precipitación en cada pluralidad de ubicaciones. El sistema determina que la probabilidad de precipitación en una ubicación particular es menor que un valor de umbral almacenado y, en respuesta, los datos de almacenamiento que identifican la ubicación particular como sin precipitación alguna.
