Abstract

Aparatos, composiciones y métodos para crear tapones de polímero en pozos y/o para mejorar la estabilidad de pozo, que comprenden: un dispositivo de control de flujo como un preventor de reventones en un pozo; una abertura de fluido de control conectada fluidamente con el pozo para introducir un fluido de control y/o un agente formador de tapón como un polímero, monómero, material resinoso y/o entrecruzable, a través de una abertura de fluido de control y dentro del agujero pasante principal mientras el fluido de reventón de pozo circula a través del pozo; y opcionalmente, una abertura de fluido ponderado ubicada en el conducto de pozo debajo de la abertura de fluido de control para introducir un fluido ponderado u otro fluido o agente formador de tapón en el pozo. Algunos agentes formadores de tapón ejemplares incluyen diciclopentadieno y norborneno, y algunos catalizadores ejemplares incluyen catalizadores de Grubbs. Los tapones de polímero también pueden ser utilizados para sellado hidráulico dentro de pozos, como durante operaciones de taponar y abandonar y de perforación para proporcionar estabilidad de pozo.
