Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Un proceso para obtener un producto de ácido carboxílico aromático bioderivado, caracterizado porque comprende carbonilar un epóxido bioderivado con monóxido de carbono bioderivado para producir una b-lactona bioderivada; reorganizar catalíticamente la b-lactona bioderivada para producir un ácido orgánico insaturado bioderivado; poner en contacto el ácido orgánico insaturado bioderivado con un dieno conjugado bioderivado para producir un ciclohexeno bioderivado intermediario; y transformar el ciclohexeno bioderivado intermediario en el producto de ácido carboxílico aromático bioderivado por deshidroaromatización. Reivindicación 12: Un proceso para producir un copolímero bioderivado a partir de un ácido aromático bioderivado y un diol bioderivado, caracterizado porque comprende mezclar un ácido aromático bioderivado y un diol bioderivado para producir una mezcla de reacción homogénea; esterificar la mezcla de reacción homogénea para producir uno o más ésteres intermediarios; oligomerizar los uno o más ésteres intermediarios para producir uno o más oligómeros; y polimerizar por policondensación los uno o más oligómeros para producir el copolímero bioderivado del ácido aromático bioderivado y el diol bioderivado. Reivindicación 16: Un proceso para obtener un producto copolimérico bioderivado, caracterizado porque comprende los siguientes pasos: producir un ácido carboxílico aromático bioderivado a partir de fuentes de óxido de etileno y monóxido de carbono bioderivado; producir un diol bioderivado a partir de fuentes de óxido de etileno y monóxido de carbono bioderivado; esterificar el ácido carboxílico aromático bioderivado y el diol bioderivado para producir un éster aromático bioderivado intermediario; prepolimerizar el éster aromático bioderivado intermediario para producir un oligómero bioderivado intermediario; polimerizar por policondensación el oligómero bioderivado intermediario para producir el producto copolimérico bioderivado.Claim 1: A process for obtaining a bio-derived aromatic carboxylic acid product, characterized in that it comprises carbonylating a bio-derived epoxide with bio-derived carbon monoxide to produce a bio-derived b-lactone; catalytically rearranging the bio-derived b-lactone to produce a bio-derived unsaturated organic acid; contacting the bio-derived unsaturated organic acid with a bio-derived conjugated diene to produce an intermediate bio-derived cyclohexene; and transforming the intermediate bio-derived cyclohexene into the bio-derived aromatic carboxylic acid product by dehydroaromatization. Claim 12: A process for producing a bio-derived copolymer from a bio-derived aromatic acid and a bio-derived diol, characterized in that it comprises mixing a bio-derived aromatic acid and a bio-derived diol to produce a homogeneous reaction mixture; esterifying the homogeneous reaction mixture to produce one or more intermediate esters; oligomerizing the one or more intermediate esters to produce one or more oligomers; and polycondensation polymerizing the one or more oligomers to produce the bio-derived copolymer of the bio-derived aromatic acid and the bio-derived diol. Claim 16: A process to obtain a bio-derived copolymeric product, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: producing a bio-derived aromatic carboxylic acid from sources of ethylene oxide and bio-derived carbon monoxide; producing a bio-derived diol from sources of ethylene oxide and bio-derived carbon monoxide; esterifying the bio-derived aromatic carboxylic acid and the bio-derived diol to produce an intermediate bio-derived aromatic ester; prepolymerizing the intermediate bio-derived aromatic ester to produce an intermediate bio-derived oligomer; polycondensation polymerizing the intermediate bio-derived oligomer to produce the bio-derived copolymer product.
