Abstract

Los ejemplos de métodos y aparatos de la presente proporcionan, entre otras cosas, una solución a los problemas que surgen en relación con la necesidad de un dispositivo inalámbrico (50) de lograr una sincronización de fuente en un sistema basado en haces, donde la red de comunicaciones inalámbricas (20) no define las “celdas” de los dispositivos inalámbricos en modo conectado (50). Los problemas se relacionan con el modo en que un dispositivo inalámbrico puede volver a sincronizarse con su nodo de acceso fuente en un sistema basado en haces que principalmente se apoya en transmisiones autocontenidas provenientes de los puntos de transmisión (30) de la red (20). Como ventaja ejemplificativa, los métodos y aparatos contemplados habilitan a los dispositivos inalámbricos (50) para que efectúen mediciones que admitan procedimientos de movilidad incluso cuando no hay planificada ninguna transmisión de datos.
