Abstract
Un método que comprende: recibir datos de presiembra que representan una fecha límite más temprana y una fecha límite más tardía de aplicación de presiembra de un fertilizante en un campo de cultivo; datos de aplicación lateral que representan una fecha límite más temprana y una fecha límite más tardía para la aplicación lateral; datos del costo del fertilizante que representan el costo de la aplicación de fertilizante; datos de los costo laborales que representan el costo de la aplicación de un fertilizante en el campo de cultivo; y datos de la rentabilidad esperada. Sobre la base de los datos recibidos se determinarán una o más restricciones de penalización. Luego se genera un programa de aplicación del fertilizante basado en los datos recibidos. El programa comprende dichas una o más fechas válidas en las cuales se recomienda fertilizar el campo de cultivo y una o más cantidades de fertilizante válidas que se aplicarán al campo de cultivo en una o más de las fechas válidas para maximizar el rendimiento de dicho cultivo.
