Abstract
Se divulgan métodos de concentración de los sólidos de la vinaza en donde se agrega un aditivo para la concentración de sólidos a una mezcla de la corriente del proceso en un proceso de etanol a partir de maíz. El aditivo para la concentración de sólidos puede comprender un coagulante o floculante polimérico catiónico o ambos, un coagulante o floculante a base de almidón o un coagulante o floculante derivado biológicamente (es decir, origen vegetal o animal). Ejemplos que vale la pena destacar de aditivos para la concentración de sólidos adecuados con copolímeros de acrilamida /amonio cuaternario y polímeros de cloruro de polidialildimetil amonio homopoliméricos.
