Abstract
Un proyectil fabricado con carbonato de calcio. El proyectil comprende un compuesto de carbonato de calcio molido a más de 40 mm en forma de talco, con una esterilización a temperatura de más de 100 grados centígrados. Opcionalmente presenta aditivos que solo actúan como ligantes. La fabricación del proyectil se puede realizar a partir del carbonato de calcio de origen orgánico. El hueso animal se muele a más de 40 mm hasta obtener un talco, y posteriormente se esteriliza a más de 100 grados centígrados. Posteriormente se mezcla con agua en un porcentaje muy bajo, formando una pasta, que es inyectada en moldes con temperatura de curado a partir de 90 grados centígrados, en forma rápida para luego prensarlas a grandes presiones. Las presiones varían de acuerdo con la dureza del proyectil pero pueden variar desde 50 kg/cm² hasta 1.000 kg/cm². De esta forma se logra la unión de la mezcla formando un proyectil sólido.
