Abstract
Los sistemas y métodos para determinar la rotación de fase adecuada en un motor lineal que se pueden utilizar en un sistema ESP, donde las rotaciones de fase asociadas con las carreras den expansión y de retroceso son inicialmente desconocidos. El método incluye proporcionar potencia al motor para múltiples ciclos y monitorear la carga (por ejemplo, monitorear la corriente consumida por el motor) en el motor para determinar en que dirección (rotación de fase) la carga en el motor aumenta. Esta dirección corresponde a la carrera de expansión del motor. La dirección del aumento de carga por lo tanto se asocia con la carrera de expansión y el motor se opera con normalidad.
