Abstract
Determinadas modalidades de sistema y método de registro obtienen mediciones de señales de múltiples componentes de una herramienta de registro electromagnético transportada a lo largo de un pozo de sondeo a través de una formación e invierten las mediciones para una única frecuencia utilizando un modelo de formación anisotrópica al menos con inclinación, resistividad horizontal y vertical y constante dieléctrica horizontal y vertical como parámetros. Se proporciona un registro resultante para representar una dependencia de la posición de al menos uno de dichos parámetros o una propiedad de la formación derivada de al menos uno de dichos parámetros. Las propiedades ilustrativas de la formación incluyen saturación de agua, tipo de roca y presencia de pirita u otros de dichos materiales con polarización anisotrópica. Se pueden realizar inversiones de las mediciones adquiridas a otras frecuencias para determinar una curva de dispersión representativa para la caracterización adicional de la formación.
