Abstract
En la presente, se divulga una configuración mejorada para la antena de un medidor de electricidad. Un medidor de electricidad puede incluir, por ejemplo, una radio, un primer elemento de placa de circuito impreso, un segundo elemento de placa de circuito impreso y un elemento de circuito impreso flexible. El primer elemento de placa de circuito impreso puede ser, por ejemplo, una placa de circuito principal a la que se hallan fijados uno o más componentes eléctricos. El elemento de circuito impreso flexible puede incluir por lo menos una porción de un elemento de antena que está conectada a la radio. En algunos casos, el segundo elemento de placa de circuito impreso puede servir para proteger el elemento de antena sobre el elemento de circuito impreso flexible contra el ruido generado por los componentes eléctricos sobre el primer elemento de placa de circuito impreso. En algunos casos, una ruta de conexión eléctrica entre el elemento de antena y la radio puede estar configurada de manera tal que no incluye ningún cable coaxial.
