Abstract
Proceso para hidrofilizar superficies de un cuerpo a partir de ácido acrílico o anhídrido de ácido acrílico que comprende: una primera etapa de prerrecubrimiento por PECVD de las superficies utilizando un plasma de alta frecuencia, donde dicho prerrecubrimiento por PECVD dura menos de 10 minutos; seguido de una segunda etapa de recubrimiento de las superficies prerrecubiertas del cuerpo, donde dicho proceso se caracteriza por que el plasma de alta frecuencia utilizado para el prerrecubrimiento se genera a partir de una mezcla de gases compuesta por un gas inerte y un primer gas formado por monómeros que contienen grupos carboxi polimerizables y biocompatibles, y porque el recubrimiento posterior se realiza mediante CVD usando un segundo gas que consiste sustancialmente en monómeros de ácido acrílico o anhídrido de ácido acrílico y donde no existe una etapa previa de activación del plasma en ausencia del primer gas o con menos del 10% del gas formado por los monómeros.Process for hydrophilizing surfaces of a body from acrylic acid or acrylic acid anhydride comprising: a first stage of precoating by PECVD of the surfaces using a high frequency plasma, where said precoating by PECVD lasts less than 10 minutes; followed by a second stage of coating the precoated surfaces of the body, where said process is characterized in that the high frequency plasma used for precoating is generated from a mixture of gases composed of an inert gas and a first gas formed by monomers containing polymerizable and biocompatible carboxy groups, and because the subsequent coating is carried out by CVD using a second gas consisting substantially of acrylic acid or acrylic acid anhydride monomers and where there is no previous stage of plasma activation in the absence of the first gas or with less than 10% of the gas formed by the monomers.
