Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Un método para aumentar una característica de crecimiento de una planta, aumentando la eficiencia en el uso de nutrientes de una planta, o mejorar la capacidad de una planta para superar el estrés que comprende aplicar una composición que comprende ketosuccinamato, uno de sus derivados, o una de sus sales, a la planta o a un material de propagación de la planta. Reivindicación 4: El método de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones que anteceden, en donde la aplicación es previa a la emergencia o posterior a la emergencia. Reivindicación 17: El método de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones que anteceden, en donde la composición comprende, además, un tensioactivo, un humectante, un adyuvante, un antioxidante, un estabilizante, un macronutriente vegetal, un micronutriente vegetal, un plaguicida, un fungicida, un antiviral, un anti-bacteriano, un herbicida, o una combinación de los anteriores. Reivindicación 18: El método de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones que anteceden, en donde la composición comprende, además, un compuesto estimulante del crecimiento de las plantas. Reivindicación 19: El método de la reivindicación 18, en donde el compuesto estimulante del crecimiento de las plantas ácido (R)-2-hidroxi-5-oxopirrolidin-2-carboxílico, ácido (S)-5-oxopirrolidin-2-carboxílico, o una combinación de los anteriores. Reivindicación 24: El método de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones que anteceden, en donde el derivado de ketosuccinamato es 3-carbamoil-2,4-dihidroxi-6-oxopiperidin-2,4-dicarboxilato; ácido 4-amino-2,4-dioxobutanoico; (S)-4-oxoazetidin-2-carboxílico ácido; ácido 4,8-dioxo-1,5-diazocan-2,6-dicarboxílico; o una combinación de los anteriores. Reivindicación 25: Una composición que comprende ketosuccinamato, o uno de sus derivados, o una de sus sales; un vehículo; y en forma opcional, un compuesto estimulante del crecimiento de las plantas.
