Abstract

Se describen sistemas y métodos para una mejor entrega de energía térmica a pozos verticales. En una realización, un método comprende calentar un fluido de transferencia de calor; hacer circular continuamente el fluido de transferencia de calor dentro de un pozo vertical hacia un intercambiador de calor dentro de pozo; hacer avanzar agua caliente de alimentación dentro del pozo vertical hacia el intercambiador de calor dentro de pozo, en donde el intercambiador de calor dentro de pozo está configurado para transferir calor desde el fluido de transferencia de calor al agua caliente de alimentación para generar vapor de alta calidad; transmitir el vapor desde el intercambiador de calor dentro de pozo a una formación subterránea, por el cual energía térmica de vapor ocasiona una reducción en viscosidad de hidrocarburos en la formación subterránea; inyectar un lavado ácido de incrustaciones para contrarrestar la formación de incrustaciones a partir de agua caliente de alimentación en el intercambiador de calor dentro de pozo; y devolver el fluido de transferencia de calor desde el intercambiador de calor dentro de pozo al calentador de fluido térmico de superficie para recalentamiento y recirculación dentro del pozo vertical.
