Abstract
Un método y un sistema de control de potencia dinámico. Comprendiendo el método la adaptación del nivel de potencia de transmisión en los Puntos de Acceso (AP) de una WLAN para minimizar la generación de interferencia en las WLAN en base a estadísticas del enlace inalámbrico local. La adaptación de potencia dinámica se basa en la información proporcionada por los parámetros estadísticos de entrada obtenidos a través de mediciones de la calidad del enlace inalámbrico sobre un periodo de tiempo. El método depende del funcionamiento de la transmisión y las condiciones físicas del medio. Toma como entrada los parámetros estadísticos y los compara con algunos umbrales establecidos para posibilitar decisiones; las decisiones adaptan la potencia de transmisión para proporcionar la tasa de transferencia requerida con la potencia transmitida mínima. El sistema de la presente está adaptado para implementar el método de la misma.A method and a dynamic power control system. The dynamic power adaptation is based on the information provided by the statistical input parameters obtained through measurements of the quality of the wireless link over a period of time. The method depends on the operation of the transmission and the physical conditions of the medium. It takes as input the statistical parameters and compares them with some thresholds established to enable decisions; the decisions adapt the transmission power to provide the required transfer rate with the minimum transmitted power. The present system is adapted to implement its method.
