Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Un método para el tratamiento cutáneo cosmético RF, que comprende: selección de una fracción de energía RF a ser entregada en un proceso ablativo de la piel; selección de una fracción de energía RF a ser entregada en un proceso no ablativo de la piel; aplicación de un cierto pulso de tensión RF a un segmento de piel tratado; medición y registro de la resistencia del segmento de piel tratado y la energía RF entregada; y en el transcurso de la aplicación del pulso RF, monitoreo continuo de la resistencia RF registrada del segmento de piel tratado y la potencia RF registrada para calcular la fracción de energía entregada en el proceso no ablativo y la fracción de energía entregada en el proceso ablativo de la piel; y comparación de la fracción de energía entregada a la piel a la fracción seleccionada de energía RF respectiva.Reivindicación 22: Un aparato para tratamiento cosmético RF de la piel, que comprende: un controlador que opera para establecer una fracción de energía RF a ser entregada en un proceso ablativo de la piel y una fracción de energía RF a ser entregada en un proceso no ablativo de la piel, un aplicador que opera para aplicar un pulso de tensión RF al segmento de piel tratado correspondiente a la fracción de energía RF establecida; un mecanismo que opera para medir y registrar la impedancia del segmento de piel tratado y la energía RF entregada y comunicar los valores a un mecanismo operativo en el curso de la aplicación del pulso RF para monitorear continuamente la impedancia registrada del segmento de piel tratado y la energía RF registrada para calcular la fracción de energía entregada en el proceso no ablativo y la fracción de energía entregada en el proceso ablativo de la piel; y comparación de la fracción de energía entregada a la piel a la respectiva fracción de energía RF seleccionada. Reivindicación 30: Un aparato para tratamiento cosmético RF de la piel, que comprende: un aplicador que incluye una punta con una pluralidad de elementos que entregan tensión a la piel; una fuente de tensión RF que opera para accionar el aplicador y aplicar un cierto pulso de tensión RF al segmento de piel tratado, dicho aplicador incluye un sensor de corriente y un sensor de tensión que operan para sensar la tensión aplicada por el aplicador y la corriente inducida por dicha tensión en el segmento de piel tratado y genera la señales correspondientes; un mecanismo que recibe y registra dichas señales de tensión y corriente y deriva de dichas señales al menos una de un grupo de resistencia RF del segmento de piel, potencia RF real entregada al segmento de piel y ángulo de fase entre los valores de tensión RF y corriente inducida por dicha tensión y comunica dichos valores a un controlador; y en donde dicho controlador basado en los registros de resistencia RF del segmento de piel tratado y en los registros de potencia RF, calcula la fracción de energía entregada en el proceso no ablativo y la fracción de energía entregada en el proceso ablativo de la piel.
