Abstract

Un conector apantallado (10) para cables eléctricos y/o para montajes de empalme para cables eléctricos, que comprende un alojamiento hueco de blindaje conductor (11) que se extiende alrededor de un eje longitudinal (X-X) y está adaptado para acoplarse con una pantalla conductora de, al menos, un cable eléctrico o con, al menos, un montaje de empalme para cables eléctricos. Una camisa protectora encogible (12) está dispuesta en una posición radialmente externa con respecto a dicho alojamiento hueco de blindaje conductor (11) y, al menos, un elemento de soporte desmontable (13) está dispuesto en una posición radialmente interna con respecto a dicho alojamiento hueco de blindaje conductor (11), a fin de retener dicho alojamiento hueco de blindaje conductor (11) y dicha camisa protectora encogible (12) en un estado radialmente expandido. También se describe un montaje de empalme para cables eléctricos, donde dicho montaje de empalme se encuentra ya sea en un estado radialmente expandido o radialmente replegado sobre una porción terminal de, al menos, un cable eléctrico. El montaje de empalme es ya sea un empalme para conectar dos cables eléctricos o una terminación para conectar un cable eléctrico a un dispositivo diferente.
