Abstract

Se divulga un método para realizar una medicion de tiempo en un flujo de datos transmitido desde un transmisor hasta un receptor de una red de comunicacion. El método comprende: en el transmisor, dividir el flujo de datos en un primero y un segundo bloques de tiempo alternado de unidades de datos, transmitirlos, aumentar un contador de transmision mientras los primeros bloques son transmitidos y establecer un sello de tiempo de transmision respecto de un tiempo corriente cuando se transmite una unidad de datos previamente determinada de cada primer bloque; en el receptor, recibir el primero y el segundo bloques, aumentar un contador de recepcion mientras que los primeros bloques son recibidos y establecer un sello de tiempo de recepcion respecto de otro tiempo corriente cuando se recibe la unidad de datos previamente determinada de cada primer bloque; y en el servidor de gestion, detectar valores periodicamente del contador de transmision, el contador de recepcion, el sello de tiempo de transmision y el sello de tiempo de recepcion y utilizarlos para realizar la medicion de tiempo.
