Abstract

Equipo solar para la purificacion de agua, de aplicacion preferente en viviendas rurales aisladas. Uno de los principales objetivos es el proveer de un purificador solar de agua para abastecer poblaciones rurales conformadas por viviendas aisladas y de escasos recursos tales como zonas del norte de Argentina. Dicho equipo es del tipo constituido por una batea (1) contenedora de agua a evaporar sobre la cual se ubica una placa superior inclinada (2) que descarga el condensado a correspondientes canales de recoleccion (3), y en donde dicha batea posee una abertura inferior (1a) que la comunica con un contenedor inferior (4) en el cual se ubica un intercambiador de calor (4b) dentro del cual circula un fluido proveniente de un colector solar (5) a fin de lograr el precalentamiento del agua a tratar. Los mencionados canales de recoleccion de condensado (3) se encuentran recubiertos con dioxido de titanio (TiO2) y la placa superior o placa fría (2) es de un material capaz de permitir el paso de rayos UV, preferentemente acrílico PMMA (polimetil metacrilato).Solar equipment for water purification, preferably applied in isolated rural dwellings.
