Abstract
Un método para evaluar a distancia el potencial de una roca fuente de hidrocarburos de una region subsuperficial sin informacion de registro de pozo. El método utiliza datos de sondeo electromagnéticos (121) y sísmicos (122) de superficie para obtener perfiles verticales de resistividad y velocidad (123), que luego son analizados del mismo modo que los datos de registro de pozo son analizados por el ampliamente conocido método DeltaLogR (124).
