Abstract

La presente solicitud comprende métodos y composiciones que se relacionan con la fijacion de fluidos o suspensiones en un pozo. En una realizacion, un método para el aislamiento de una porcion de un pozo comprende la preparacion de una composicion selladora que comprende un componente de fluido y un componente de aditivo polimérico; la colocacion de la composicion selladora en un pozo; y el sometimiento de la composicion selladora a radiacion ionizante. La radiacion ionizante puede producir el enlace entre los componentes de aditivo polimérico y crear una matriz polimérica dentro de la composicion selladora, que aumenta la resistencia mecánica de la composicion selladora.
