Abstract
La presente se dirige a un método de produccion de hidrocarburos desde un reservorio de hidrocarburos. El método comprende la provision de un pozo sustancialmente horizontal que tiene por lo menos un intervalo de produccion dentro de un reservorio de hidrocarburos, y la formacion de por lo menos una fractura transversal no conductora en el reservorio, a lo largo del pozo sustancialmente horizontal. Se provee además un pozo de inyeccion. Se inyecta un fluido en el reservorio a través del pozo de inyeccion, a fin de desplazar los hidrocarburos dentro del reservorio hacia una porcion de produccion del pozo sustancialmente horizontal. Los hidrocarburos son drenados del reservorio hacia por lo menos un intervalo de produccion del pozo sustancialmente horizontal. La produccion de fluido de por lo menos uno de los intervalos de produccion hacia el pozo sustancialmente horizontal fluye a través de un dispositivo de control de afluencia que puede restringir el flujo de fluido. Una fractura transversal no conductora puede formar una barrera dentro del reservorio, de manera de desviar los fluidos inyectados a fin de incrementar la eficiencia de barrido y reducir la afluencia de fluidos inyectados en el intervalo de produccion.
