Abstract

Esta solicitud provee una composicion sinérgica, novedosa y método para reducir la corrosion, particularmente la corrosion de oxido blanco, sobre superficies metálicas galvanizadas en sistemas de aguas industriales. La composicion es una mezcla sinérgica y preferentemente comprende entre aproximadamente 0 y aproximadamente 10 por ciento en peso de un reductor de la corrosion de oxido blanco a base de amina y entre aproximadamente 10 y aproximadamente 90 por ciento en peso de un benzotriazol. En un método para utilizar la mezcla sinérgica, una cantidad eficaz de la mezcla se introduce sobre la superficie metálica galvanizada para formar una barrera sobre la superficie.
