Abstract

Material compuesto que contiene material termoplástico y material proteínico, y proceso de obtencion. La presente invencion se refiere a una composicion y al proceso de obtencion de materiales compuestos que contienen materiales termoplásticos convencionales, biopolímeros biodegradables, termoplásticos y material proteínico. en este trabajo fue utilizada una torta de ricino como carga para la obtencion de materiales compuestos preparados a partir de polímeros extensamente difundidos, tales como poliestireno de alto impacto (HIPS), polietileno de baja densidad lineal (PEBDL o LDPE), polipropileno (PP) y un biopolímero biodegradable como polihidroxialcanoato (PHA). En el caso de los tres primeros polímeros, el objeto de preparacion de materiales compuestos utilizando torta de ricino sería aumentar la biodegradabilidad del material, sin comprometer las propiedades mecánicas del mismo, puesto que estos polímeros son extensamente empleados en la produccion de productos de corta vida util, tales como vasos descartables, bolsas plásticas, envases y embalajes, en el caso de polihidroxialcanoatos (PHAs), la adicion de residuo de ricino fermentado como carga podría propiciar una reduccion del costo de produccion de material, con mantencion o mejoría de sus propiedades. Los materiales compuestos obtenidos de esta manera, presentan buenas propiedades mecánicas y térmicas. La gama de compuestos así preparados encuentran aplicacion en industrias que emplean la madera maciza e industrias en el área de la construccion civil, pudiendo tener también aplicacion en productos descartables.Composite material containing thermoplastic material and protein material, and obtaining process. In the case of the first three polymers, the object of preparation of composite materials using castor cake would be to increase the biodegradability of the material, without compromising the mechanical properties of the material, since these polymers are widely used in the production of short-lived products useful, such as disposable cups, plastic bags, containers and packaging, in the case of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs), the addition of fermented castor residue as a load could lead to a reduction in the cost of material production, with maintenance or improvement of its properties . Composite materials obtained in this way have good mechanical and thermal properties. The range of compounds thus prepared find application in industries that use solid wood and industries in the area of civil construction, and may also have application in disposable products.
