Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos y sistemas para la evaluacion de aspectos de la dinámica de fluidos de corrosion y tension de corte en redes de tubería (14). Los sitios conflictivos de tension de corte de una red de tubería se pueden identificar utilizando las funciones de transferencia no dimensionales que se han desarrollado para identificar la magnitud y ubicacion de estos máximos locales dependiendo de los parámetros geométricos de los componentes utilizados comunmente de las redes de tubería (14), las propiedades fluidas del flujo, y las condiciones operantes de la red de tubería (14). Una vez identificados los máximos locales de tension de corte potenciales, los operadores de la red de tubería pueden monitorear estas ubicaciones para determinar la corrosion u otros danos para prevenir la pérdida de la integridad de las tuberías.
