Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a nuevos compuestos de politiofeno que tienen cadenas laterales de polialcoxilo y baja temperatura irreversible despues de la activacion de las composiciones/compuestos termocromicos (IUA) de los mismos. Las composiciones o compuestos termocromicos son activados y exhiben un color IUA por calentamiento en o arriba de una temperatura de transicion termocromica reversible (RTTT) y enfriamiento a o por debajo de una temperatura de transicion termocromica irreversible (IRTTT) en menos de 2segundo. Las composiciones o compuestos termocromicos IUA activados, retendr n su color IUA tan pronto como los compuestos o composiciones sean mantenidos en o por debajo de aproximadamente 5øC por debajo de la IRTTT. Las composiciones o compuestos termocromicos IUA activados, ser n desactivados y mostrar n un diferente color despues de la exposicion a una temperatura igual a o superior de aproximadamente 5øC por debajo de la IRTTT a menos que los compuestos o composiciones sean activados nuevamente. La composicion/compuestos termocromicos pueden ser usados para preparar los indicadores termocromicos IUA, los cuales pueden monitorear los sujetos almacenados por debajo de una temperatura pre-determinada y detectar los sujetos que han sido expuestos a una temperatura por arriba de la temperatura pre-determinada.
